Went from TN to NC and then home to MA. Fuel mileage averaged 7.9 mpg for the whole trip. Truck held back just fine going down any grade by keeping the rpms at about 4500. Truck is 350 Lariat with 7.3 gas and 410 gears with 18" tires. GVW with camper is 22,000 lbs. Was hoping for 7 mpg so 7.9 is a a bonus.3 posts · Joined 2020. #1 · Jul 8, 2021. My daughter has a 2020 F150 STX 2.7l with a 10 speed transmission, 10R80. With almost 20,000 it is jerking and feels like you get rear ended at times. I know they have problems with the 10R80 transmission but the dealers are clueless about what to do.
